This iteration of the Pelican 1615 Air Wheeled Hard Case is designed for you to maximize its available space while providing customized protection for your valuable gear. You can get the lined 1615 case with two layers of Pick-N-Pluck foam that allow you to customize the interior to your specific gear, plus a bottom base layer and a convoluted foam lid insert ensure everything fully protected.
The waterproof 1615 Air Wheeled Carry-On Hard Case from Pelican is a crushproof case made from lightweight HPX2 polymer that will protect and store sensitive gear. The case is secured with an updated push-button latching system on three sides that uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut. This edition of the 1615Air comes lined but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the roomy 29.6 x 15.5 x 9.4" interior to your specific needs and gear. Carry your case using one of the three overmolded handles or if it's too heavy, extend the pull handle and tow it behind you on its two low-profile, quiet-running wheels.
Your case is made of a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer with honeycomb structural elements, which is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to make it dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel-reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. For easy identification, there's a polycarbonate card holder that may be placed on the front or side of the case.

Designed to fit their 1615 Air case, this foam can be fully customized with two deep Pick-n-Pluck base layers to arrange around whatever equipment you need to carry. It has a padded bottom and eggcrate foam lid. This foam set can be used as a replacement if you already picked and plucked the original foam for one piece of kit and now you need to carry different gear, or if you bought your case without foam and want to add it.
